Nestled within the prolific Laramide Belt, the Santo Tomás Project is poised to assert itself as a significant player in the global copper industry. The Project showcases a substantial porphyry copper deposit notable for its capability to generate considerable Au and Ag credits alongside a core composition of fracture and disseminated Cu and Mo sulphides.
Extending over a 4km strike length, the mineralization at Santo Tomás has been substantiated through surface mapping and extensive drill testing—comprising 106 diamond and reverse circulation drill holes reaching an accumulative depth of nearly 30,000 meters from 1968 to 1994. Significant advancements occurred in 1994 when Mintec, Inc. of Tucson, Arizona, rendered a comprehensive resource estimate at the behest of Exall Resources Limited. Further metallurgical examination was executed by Mountain States Research and Development, Inc. (MSRDI), which, in conjunction with the geological findings, facilitated a preliminary economic evaluation through the Pre-Feasibility Study by Bateman Engineering Inc.
Bateman's work culminated in an optimistic report in July 1994, predicated exclusively upon measured and indicated mineral resource estimates. Deliberations in the study included projected mining rates of up to 120,000 tonnes per day, with an annual production potential of 300 million pounds of copper, complemented by gold and silver yields. The Pre-Feasibility Study accounted for conventional open-pit mining and ore processing methodologies without discerning design risks.
Despite the promising indications from historical assessments, current consensus deems these studies and estimates as primarily conceptual, pending validation through ongoing technical endeavours. In 2017, Oroco Resources undertook a sweeping geological mapping exercise across the project, amalgamating all data from earlier exploration activities. By 2019, efforts were channelled towards improving site accessibility and developing essential on-site facilities. A complete 3-D resistivity and induced polarization survey commenced subsequently in September 2020, intensively covering key mineralized zones. Correlations from this cutting-edge survey with historical data are now steering the Company's directed drilling program.
Strategically situated along the States of Sinaloa and Chihuahua border, the Santo Tomás Project enjoys a favourable position on the south bank of the Fuerte River in the western Sierra Madre. The proximity to the deep-water port of Topolobampo and the project's seamless integration with regional infrastructure—paved roads, railway, grid power, and gas pipeline—present a compelling advantage. This, coupled with the resource-rich Sierra Madre region's entrenched mining heritage and the local community's endorsement, underscores Santo Tomás’s potential for large-scale development and economic impact.

With insights from geologists, experts, and Indigenous partners, Kevin and Robynne evaluate each company's environmental and social governance, revealing the intricate balance of industry standards and ethical practices.
Travel alongside them in diverse modes, from RVs to seaplanes, as they uncover the hidden stories and histories of the mining world, offering a unique perspective on the challenges and beauties of the global mining landscape.
But the adventure doesn't stop with watching - viewers can dive into the action themselves with the Mine$tockers Fantasy Trading Pool. This immersive experience allows you to create your own trading portfolio with $100,000 in fantasy bucks and compete against the Mine$tockers throughout the season. The stakes are high: half of the growing cash prize pool goes to the top-performing trader, while the other half is earmarked for a charity of the Mine$tockers' choice. However, if the Mine$tockers themselves clinch the top spot on the scoreboard at season's end, the entire prize pot will be donated to charity. It's not just about watching investments unfold - it's about testing your own trading mettle in this high-stakes, real-time challenge.
