UNCOVERING MINERAL WEALTH: CASCADIA'S QUEST FOR COPPER AND GOLD

EXPLORE OUR PROPERTIES

At Cascadia, our core endeavour is discovering and exploring rich Copper and Gold resources within the untamed wilderness of Yukon and British Columbia, Northern Canada. The Catch Property, located in Central Yukon's heart, stands as Cascadia’s premier exploration venture. The property has recently gained significant attention by uncovering novel copper-gold porphyry mineralization. Our portfolio extends beyond the frontiers of Yukon with the exploration of the Rosy and Sands of Time properties and across into the fertile grounds of British Columbia at the PIL property.

PRIME LOCATION AND ACCESSIBILITY

Strategically nestled in a less-explored locale of central Yukon, the Catch Property spans an impressive 117 square kilometres. It enjoys a prime position 56 kilometres southeast of Carmacks, enhancing its accessibility and logistical convenience. Notably, just 10 kilometres distant lies an all-season highway and a high-voltage power line, considerably supporting operational logistics. Accessibility is further facilitated by floatplane and helicopter services, connecting the property to the surrounding infrastructure. The Catch is warmly embraced by the traditional territory of the Little Salmon Carmacks First Nation, whose partnership enables round-the-clock operational support.

INAUGURAL DIAMOND DRILLING SUCCESS

The Autumn of 2023 was a landmark period for the Catch Property, marking the commencement of a maiden diamond drilling venture that has yielded promising results. The initial analysis from the first couple of holes in the Diorite Zone has revealed 116.60 metres at a grade of 0.31% copper in combination with 0.30 grams per tonne of gold. This discovery heralds the potential of this new, unexplored copper-gold porphyry depository. Substantial copper and gold soil anomalies are significant, evidenced by a conspicuous 5,000 by 500-metre anomaly detected within the zones under exploration.

ROBUST MINERALIZATION EVIDENCE

Surface rock samples gathered from the Main and Diorite Zones depict promising results, with peak values reaching as high as 3.88% copper and 30.0 grams per tonne of gold, alongside notable molybdenum and silver contents. Average rock samples from the Main Zone have highly mineralized content, indicative of these zones' rich potential.

DIAMOND DRILLING HIGHLIGHTS

The Catch Property’s initial foray into diamond drilling wrapped up towards the end of 2023, cumulatively encompassing five holes with an aggregate drilling depth of 2,462 metres. Holes CA-23-001 and CA-23-002, drilled at the Diorite Zone, confirmed sulphide mineralization to their final depths. These holes were strategically targeted to probe an induced polarization chargeability anomaly that lay beneath the surface mineralization of high grade, suggesting the presence of considerable mineral deposits in the subsurface. There is a potent sense of anticipation for the forthcoming results of additional holes located 2 kilometres north at the Main Zone, with expectations set on affirming the widespread copper and gold mineralization across the property.

ASSAYS RESULT SUMMARY

The preliminary drill results instill robust confidence. Specifically, hole CA-23-002 has intersected substantial copper and gold grades, offering a promising sign for the prospective richness of the property’s mineral deposits. The potential for potassic alteration and the likelihood of encountering higher copper and gold grades in the untested porphyry system's core adds to the excitement. Therefore, a comprehensive follow-up drilling program will commence in the spring of 2024 to uncover deeper potential.

GEOLOGICAL CONTEXT AND POTENTIAL

Placed aptly within the geologically renowned Stikine Terrane, neighbouring the prominent Teslin-Thibert fault system, the Catch Property benefits from its geography. The Semenof Formation, known for copper-gold-molybdenum porphyries akin to other illustrious nearby deposits, underpins the site. Such geological markers corroborate the indications of a significant copper-gold±molybdenum bearing porphyry system in the vicinity. The outcomes of the preliminary explorations at the Catch Property position it as a potent new arena for copper and gold mining in the Yukon. Poised with a strategic location, auspicious geological signs, and initial drilling successes, the industry looks forward with baited breath to Cascadia's future endeavours on this promising property.
