Banyan Gold Corp. konzentriert sich darauf, sein 6,2 Millionen Unzen Goldprojekt (das "AurMac-Projekt") im Yukon, Kanadas neuestem und schnell wachsendem Bergbaugebiet, voranzutreiben und zu entrisikisieren.
Das AurMac-Projekt beherbergt strukturell kontrollierte, intrusionsbezogene Goldmineralisierungen. Es liegt im Mayo-Bergbaubezirk im zentralen Yukon, etwa 40 km nördlich der Gemeinde Mayo, Yukon. In etwa 25 km Entfernung liegt die Tagebau-Entsäuerungs-Goldmine von Victoria Gold Corp. und in der Nähe des Keno Hill Silver District, betrieben von Hecla Mining Company (ehemals Alexco Resource Corp.).
Das AurMac-Projekt umfasst 988 Claims mit einer Gesamtfläche von etwa 173 km2 und enthält drei (3) Lagerstätten: Airstrip, Powerline und Aurex Hill. Es profitiert von einer außergewöhnlichen Infrastruktur mit der Haupt-Yukon-Autobahn in der Nähe der Hauptzufahrtsstraße, einer Dreiphasen-Stromleitung, einer vorhandenen Umspannstation der Yukon Energy Corp. und Mobilfunkabdeckung.
Am 24. Mai 2023 wurde gemäß National Instrument 43-101, Standards für die Offenlegung von Mineralprojekten ("NI 43-101"), eine neue Mineralressource-Schätzung ("MRE" oder "Mineralressource") für das AurMac-Grundstück veröffentlicht. Es handelt sich um einen gesamten geschätzten Mineralbestand von 6.181.000 Unzen Gold bei 0,61 g/t Au auf dem von der Straße erreichbaren AurMac-Grundstück (siehe Pressemitteilung vom 24. Mai 2023).
Ein NI 43-101 Technical Report, der die Mineralressourcenschätzung unterstützt, wird innerhalb von 45 Tagen nach dieser Veröffentlichung bei SEDAR unter www.sedar.com eingereicht.
