Kenmare betreibt die Moma Titanium Minerals Mine, die an der Nordostküste von Mosambik liegt. Die Moma Mine enthält Ablagerungen von schweren Mineralien, darunter die Titanmineralien Ilmenit und Rutil sowie das Zirkoniumsilikat-Mineral Zirkon. Ilmenit und Rutil werden in der Herstellung von Titandioxid-Pigmenten und Titanmetall verwendet. Titandioxid-Pigmente haben eine hohe Deckkraft und eine brillante Weiße, die hauptsächlich in Farben, Papier und Kunststoffen verwendet werden. Die Hauptanwendung für Zirkon liegt in der Herstellung von Opazifiern für Keramik. Titanmetall ist ein leichtes, robustes Metall mit geringem Temperaturausdehnungskoeffizienten, das in der Luft- und Raumfahrt sowie in anderen anspruchsvollen Anwendungen verwendet wird. Der Bergbau erfolgt hauptsächlich mit Schwimmbaggern, die in künstlichen Abbau-Tümpeln schwimmen. Diese Bagger pumpen die Mineraliensande, die die Wand des Tümpels bilden, in eine schwimmende Nasskonzentrator-Anlage (WCP). Es entsteht ein Schwermineralkonzentrat (HMC), das anschließend zur nahegelegenen Mineralien-Trennanlage (MSP) gepumpt wird, wo es in Endprodukte für den Export über Kenmares firmeneigene Hafenanlage aufgeteilt wird. Der gesamte Betrieb auf dem Gelände wird mit hydrogenerierter Elektrizität betrieben, die über eine firmeneigene, 170 km lange 110-kV-Freileitung zum Standort übertragen wird.
